A Review of Modelling in Ferrimagnetic Spintronics

In this review we introduce computer modelling and simulation techniques which are used for ferrimagnetic materials. We focus on models where thermal effects accounted for, atomistic spin dynamics finite temperature macrospin approaches. survey the literature of two most commonly modelled ferrimagnets in field spintronics--the amorphous alloy GdFeCo magnetic insulator yttrium iron garnet. look at how generic material specific have been applied to predict understand spintronic experiments, focusing fields ultrafast magnetisation dynamics, spincaloritronics textures give an outlook spintronics.
